The Golden Festival is NYC's annual Balkan and East European music and dance bacchanal that the Zlatne Uste Brass Band has organized for 28 years running. WFMU's Transpacific Sound Paradise presents a special live broadcast from the Zlatne Uste Golden Festival, main stage from 6-9pm ET on Saturday Jan 19th (91.1-FM NYC | wfmu.org). It will be the fifth consecutive year that WFMU and the Free Music Archive have helped document performances across the festival's multiple stages.
